SPRING TOURNAMENT
"Slug it out against diabetes"
Held at local J.W. Denver Williams park in Wilmington
In honor of Heather's birthday we hold a spring event in the third week of May every year. This event kicks off the year of fundraising with a coed screwball/softball tournament, a wacky version of softball. Played much like softball, the games are less competitive and focused more on fun; the innings can include some antics such as running the bases backwards, batting opposite handed, batting with a wiffleball set and even an inning of kickball!
We encourage family fun. In the past we have had carnival games, face painting, inflatable jump house, and concessions. Come support the teams and grab lunch!
The proceeds from this year’s Spring Tournament will be donated to Camp Korelitz to offer a significant reduction in Camp fees for a young person of Clinton County.

5k Run
"Lickety-Split 5k"
As one of our newer events, we partner with the Banana Split Festival and the Wilmington Rotary Club to put on this run. Pre-registered runners receive official race day t-shirts, coupons for free banana splits to enjoy at the festival and the chance to win a prize. We encourage families and kids to join the fun!
Funds go to general funds for HD
