Heather’s Hope is a non-profit group formed in 2010 by friends and family of Heather James. Heather was a beautiful young woman with an infectious laugh and limitless hopes and dreams. Heather, a 2003 WHS graduate, died in 2008 at age 23 from complications with type 1 diabetes. It is through Heather’s Hope that her zest for life and her need to help others lives on. 

 

In our first 4 years, Heather’s Hope raised over $20,000 for diabetes research and care, which has helped patients both locally and nationally. Our organization’s focus has now changed to exclusively helping those in Clinton County.
